Bamboo Restaurant in Ubud

It’s an amazing place. Been there twice in my 3Day stay in ubud. Nice food options. Live music. You can sing too if you know to. Has amazing fruit sheesha options. You can have a few drinks here as well. Loved it completely ! Made a friend here by name Petruk :)

Love the vibe here! Great live reggae band playing here on Monday night.

Just back from this bar. The band was just phenomenal, very talented musicians.

This local is amazing, I been coming here for long time. The internet is one of the best in Ubud. The food is just amazing, they even have vegan options. The natural juice are just very tasty and cheap. Every day they have live music that you just will be surprised about the quality of the bands that they bring here and the entry is free.The staff are very nice and friendly.This is a place to visit if you can to Ubud

It was OK, good street view and reasonably priced food and drinks.

I ordered a menu with duck and what I got is absolutely disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant

The worst service I have had in the whole of Bali. Moody waitress whose attitude suggested she would rather slap you then serve you.The band was the only redeeming feature of this place

For accident visit it was quite a good experience. We had only drinks. Local spirit with sprite lime and honey. 2 of them and i got drunk. I loved it. And it was cheap. Music is good. Bob Marley. U can dance as well.

We took a risk as we usually look at reviews before choosing a restaurant, what a bad choice. Garlic bread was huge chunks of garlic on top of some toasted baguette, margherita pizza was an awful store-bought base with sweet tangy sauce that tasted more like orange juice, and the pasta was drowning in undercooked tomato puree with a hair in it. Service was poor, at no point were we asked how our meal was and they didn't bother returning to the table to clear plates until after we paid and left.

Very good for Dinner. They have live music, and it is amazing. Pizza is ok and worth the price.

Terrible food, Terrible service!

first time come here, we order pizza and carbonara, only ate it a little bit..tasteless, not cooked well. and the coffee not good, too watery

Amazing atmosphere and lovely live music. The food is average. We had the tacos and fajitas and it was ok. The service is great, and the staffs are so friendly.

Lively atmosphere on a Sunday night. The band was great, the beer was cold. We didn't eat.

Don't know why many people write that service is so-so, for us it was pretty fast.also Price was slightly cheaper than most of places in Ubud! Vegan rice with tofu was great chicken burger was pretty average but the life music rocks. Some reggae band played there and they were lit 😊😊

Okay food but very good music

Absolutely abysmal, cheap but even then not worth it. I ordered a chicken burger, let me tell you, the chicken was smaller than the bun and about as thick as a piece of paper (pictures included). I also ordered some Indonesian chicken, it came out looking good but without the sauce it was flavorless and poor. I warn all reading this avoid at all cost, it is a better investment to starve than eat her. P.S. they charge 3% more when paying with card.

Full value for money, live music, at centre of Ubud market, reasonable prices

Bad service and very expensive. I would not recommend this place. There are a lot of better bars in the neighborhood.

Nice bar with a lot of live music and local artists, little dancefloor and a nice atmosphere.

Can’t say anything about the food. I’m on here mostly because the house band is phenomenal. If you like live music this is the place to go. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area in bali

If you like raw rice and bones this is the place to go.. I just had dinner there with my partner and what we got is raw rice and the BBQ pork rib almost had no meat at all.. Tom yum soup doesn't taste like Tom yum. Food was very expensive for the quality of food.. worst restaurant I ever went during my 2 weeks in Bali Staff nonchalant.

Great quality for a good price! some really lovely food here and some great music too, a little inconsistent after a few visits but still worth the patronage! Classic cover bands are a pretty common thing here! one of those restaurant warung crossovers, even smoking inside is still a thing! maybe its for you or maybe not but the prices are good and the vibe is real!

Get only beer and shisha here

Had heaps of fun here! Music was swinging and the staff were friendly. Bill was a little steep but in saying that we drank a lot...the drinks were yummy and good value.

Mixed experience with this. The Indonesian food was disappointing, but I had a really great avocado juice and romano pizza.

Just save your money and go elsewhere. There are a lot of other restaurants nearby that taste better and have better service. I was ready to leave after we ordered one watermelon juice that tasted like they added the dirty outer shell in the blender and one tropical smoothie that tasted like blended ice with a “hint” of pineapple. We only took two sips and left them. Also, I’m pretty sure there is only one stove and one cook in the kitchen because the food took extremely long to be prepared.

A really nice place for some good food and few bears. वे where her for a live music night and it was great fun. Loved the experience.

The happy hour is a scam to hook customers (only available on mojitos whereas they do not specify it). The food is long to arrive, the starters after the main dish.Cocktails are tasteless.Very disappointed.

Don't you even consider stopping at this place! The food is awful 🤮 I have received a burnt tuna and my husband a refrigerated burger with the cheapest bread you can think of. And all this at the magnificent price of 170k! We left without touching the food. No no no

Good prices and service but the juices are bad.

We were here yesterday for some food. It was busy, as many other places closed for galungan. The pasta carbonara sauce was awful and the meat was over cooked. The fish in the fish finger burger was brown of colour and tasted old. We didnt eat the food and left.

Much better places close byMy wife wanted a pizza so we ate here for lunch. She just had a margarita that had nice flavours but not really cooked on the base. I had the fish in banana leaves that had good flavours but the fish was tough and dry

Great location that has been in Ubud forever. Nice renovated downstairs with an inviting interior-upstairs is ok but has less of an atmosphere. The best thing about this place is that they still offer Balinese drinks like Arak and rice wine-most other places have changed to just Western drinks which really is a shame. Live music and great staff make this a must visit in when you are in Ubud.

Great location and friendly stuff, the food wasnt that good price/food quality

Plain banana fritter was served, no syrup or ice cream as described. Then the waiter got down and came back with only syrup. Then we went down to get ice cream and fianly he went down a third time to get a fork!The shisha was bad.When we had to pay we were forced to pay 3% card charges as the only place in Bali so far. This was not informed in anyway in anyway, and the owner was rude. Will not recommend.

Rockin the suburbs!Ended up at this place after dinner on a Thursday night with a pretty good band playing bluesy rock covers. And not just straight up but putting their own little spin on the songs.Good drinks at good prices.

Average food but fairly cheap prices. Separate vegan menu on request. The Ubud curry is probably the worst curry I've eaten in my life. It was more like a salty soup I don't recommend. Staff were fine but there were about 6 stood by the door and no one checked on the meal which I would've said needed something to combat the salt. Probably wouldn't go back but fine for a cheap meal.

The wait staff said that I could pay with a card on arrival. When I asked for the bill they said using a card was a 30% fee. I asked 3 times to clarify and yes 30%. Said it was the rules of the owners rule. When I asked to speak to the manager the staff said "they are not here".

Too class joint. 1 of only 2 vibey places in Ubud. Awesome love rock band. Would definitely recommend it if you were in town. Lady bos a bit of a sour puss but otherwise all good

The food is nice. Average price. Good location and nice place. Staff are a bit friendly and need to improve more about the service and also costumer service skill. They tried to give me a broken cup for my tea until I asked them to change it.

music was good, but they decided to rip us off. one coke and two cocktails does not make 219000 which is twelve pound. didnt make a fuss but avoid. theres another live music place across the park opposite

Staying at the hostel upstairs of this bar, they have fantastic live music almost every night and they have amazing band performances.. their food are just amazing, I often order their juices, and they also have shisha as well, the prices also affordable for tourist..it’s a must place to visit in Ubud..
